Wedding & Event Cupcakes & Cake

I get this questions a lot I like the cupcakes but want a cake to cut into. Well my friends you can do BOTH, The picture to the right explains how you can have you cake and eat it to. This is a great way for people to enjoy their cake at you event and not leave the dance floor. You can do this for a wedding or any other event that requires a cake. I know now all cakes are more elaborate then others but this is a way to be a little different and fun with your cake.

Wedding favors:  if you really want to save money get a little cake to cut into and leave these tasty treats on every ones plates with a little thank you note. Your favors will become your cake and your thank you notes. I love doing this. So cute!

Color me Mine

COLORS is the universal language to a person. I love asking the question what is your favorite color? Did you know that someones favorite color will tell you alot about a person? When I'm getting to know people I love asking this question because it will tell me who you are. Did you know in business you should always consider different colors that will help you boost your business? Different colors will trigger the brain to do different things. Check out this site it's pretty interesting http://www.squidoo.com/colorexpert For more helpful hints visit my website www.1226events.com

Question of the Day DRINKS

Here is our 2nd question. I get so excited to be able to answer your questions.
I want to provide an open bar for my guests but I can't afford it, what should I do to make my guest HAPPY?

This one is a case by case bases. I wish there was one general question about the BAR but there isn't. I know to have the best alcohol at your wedding all night long in most cases it will cost you just as much as the meal if not more. Here is what I would do see if you can do just beer and wine and champagne for your guest all night long. If you can put down a certain dollar amount at the bar and when they exceed that amount turn the bar into CASH.
This is a hard question but look if your guests have to pay for their own drinks they will drink less and not be as wasteful with the drinks. Hope this helps visit my website for more information www.1226events.com

Wedding Invitations

Wedding invitation are the start of wedding chaos LOL Once these invites get sent out your world will become everything wedding. It's so much fun getting that invitation in the mail looking at it and from the looks of the invite you kind of know if it's going to be fancy or casual wedding. To all of you that are judging "a book by the cover" or "An Invitation sets the wedding" STOP IT...... I HATE INVITATION I think they are a waist of time and money. I know some older people will need invitations but seriously not everyone needs these fancy things that will become trash, or lost before they even get to your wedding. SEND OUT EVITES OR PUNCHBOWLS invites. Yes I said it why are you going to spend money on something that is going to cost you money????? With an electronic invitation you can send out reminders, put links to your wedding registry (so your guests can open your invite click on a link & order your gift without event getting off a chair), have maps to the church & reception, & save a tree or 2. The best part is the $500 you would have spent on invitations (I know some of you are saying o it doesn't cost that much well even if you print your own invites trust me it does: Gas to go get the invite, extra ones in case you mess up, ink, stamps when all is said and done $500 is spent) that money could be spent on upgrading food, cake, flowers, linens, band or DJ. I will tell all my brides NO INVITATIONS.... hope this helps check out my website for more info and send me your questions and I promise I will answer every single one of them www.1226events.com

Modivation

At some point in your life you will be betrayed or deeply hurt by someone you love and to all of you going through that pain I want you to know that it's OK to moron your betrayal but at some point you have to break free and focus on how you will prevail from that situation. I know when these situations come fourth all you want to do is yell & scream & somehow get back at that person. It's human nature to want revenge to a certain extent. I'm here to tell you to let it go stop wasting your energy on revenge and turn it into motivation to focus on yourself, your family, your job or your business. Sweet revenge is your own success in life whether it's building a fortune 500 company or growing your family set fourth on something that will make your HEART SMILE. Turn your frustration into motivation. Dwell on solutions & not problems. Always remember that the world is round and what you give is what you get. Give a little of your heart but never the entire heart beats, Give a little piece of mind & never your entire thoughts, Run to the finish line but never run out of breath & lastly take what you need & leave a little for someone in need.
I hope this helps you get through a rough time or helps you through your day.
